Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve TAYLOR.
Steve, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ever since I was a young child, I have loved the outdoors and loved capturing it. Later on in my late 30s I was diagnosed with ALS, it was this shocking news to myself and family that sent me out exploring. Over the years I find the Southwest, especially Utah where I want to explore and capture the incredible landscapes. It’s been 26 years now living with ALS , although life is getting harder, I am always looking forward to the next adventure.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a rough and bumpy road, full of rock, ditches, sand and mud, literally! My mind says lets go explore but my body says let’s just sit and relax.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Photographer, landscape, specializing in coastal, tropical and southwest photography.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Be patient with myself, others and especially nature.
