Community Highlights: Meet Dr. Sandra Perez-Dalton of RestoreHER Place//Sandra Webster LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Sandra Perez-Dalton.

Hi Dr. Sandra , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in brokenness. I spent years battling addiction, trauma, incarceration, and unhealthy relationships, believing my past had disqualified me from a meaningful future. But in the midst of my darkest seasons, God began giving me a vision for helping women find hope, healing, and restoration.

Today, by God’s grace, I am the CEO and Founder of RestoreHER Place, a nonprofit that has served women and children for more than two decades. I am also an author, speaker, and advocate committed to helping others rebuild their lives. My story is proof that our greatest setbacks do not have to define us—they can become the foundation for our greatest purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road. The journey has included addiction, incarceration, trauma, broken relationships, financial challenges, an afair, lost of a husband of 20 years from COVID, and the difficult work of rebuilding trust with myself, my family, and others. There were many moments when giving up seemed easier than moving forward.

One of the greatest struggles was learning to believe that my past did not define my future. Building a nonprofit from a vision while overcoming personal obstacles required faith, perseverance, and a willingness to keep going even when the path was uncertain. Looking back, those challenges didn’t destroy me—they developed the resilience, compassion, and purpose that now allow me to serve others with authenticity and understanding.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about RestoreHER Place//Sandra Webster LLC ?
RestoreHER Place and Sandra Webster LLC were both born from a powerful belief: that no person is beyond restoration and no story is beyond redemption.

RestoreHER Place is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping at-risk women and children move from surviving to thriving through transitional housing, support services, mentorship, life skills, workforce development, and community support. For more than two decades, we have walked alongside women facing homelessness, addiction, trauma, domestic violence, and other life challenges, helping them rebuild their lives and create a brighter future for themselves and their children.

Sandra Webster LLC serves as my platform for speaking, consulting, authorship, leadership development, and AI education. As a speaker, author, CEO, and Kingdom AI Catalyst, I help churches, nonprofits, businesses, and leaders leverage technology, leadership principles, and personal transformation strategies to create greater impact and sustainable growth.

What sets us apart is that we don’t just teach restoration—we live it. Everything we do is rooted in real-life experience, practical solutions, faith, and a deep commitment to helping people move forward. Our work is built on authenticity, compassion, excellence, and the belief that transformation is possible for everyone.

What I am most proud of is not the awards, recognition, or accomplishments, but the lives that have been transformed along the way. Seeing women reunite with their children, achieve sobriety, secure employment, pursue education, and discover their purpose reminds me why this work matters.

If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: your past does not determine your future. Whether through housing, mentorship, speaking, leadership development, or AI innovation, our mission remains the same—to help people rebuild, restore, and rise into the life they were created for.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Absolutely. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that mentorship is not optional—it is essential. No matter how gifted, educated, or experienced we are, there is always someone who has gone where we are trying to go. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have intentionally sought mentors who were wiser, more experienced, and knowledgeable in areas where I needed to grow.

What has worked well for me is staying teachable, asking questions, showing up consistently, and building genuine relationships rather than simply looking for opportunities. Many of my mentors came through networking events, leadership programs, faith communities, professional associations, and simply being willing to introduce myself and learn from others.

My advice is to find someone whose character, values, and results you admire. Don’t just look for someone successful—look for someone whose life and leadership you want to emulate. Then be willing to listen, learn, and apply what they teach. Growth happens faster when you stop trying to figure everything out on your own.

I truly believe that many of the opportunities, relationships, and accomplishments I’ve experienced today are the result of standing on the wisdom, guidance, and encouragement of mentors who invested in me along the way.
