Hi Natalie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Delish Thai Kitchen was born from my love of Thai food and my desire to share the flavors, energy, and spirit of Thailand with the community. Thai food has always been more than just food to me—it represents family, memories, culture, and the joy of bringing people together around a table.
When I started Delish Thai Kitchen, I wanted to create something that felt authentic but approachable\. I was especially inspired by the vibrant street\-food culture of Bangkok—the bold flavors, fresh ingredients, wok\-fired dishes, and the simple idea that great food doesn’t have to be complicated\. Some of our most popular dishes, including our Pad Thai and other Bangkok\-style street food favorites, reflect that inspiration\.
Recognition from the Community
As Delish Thai Kitchen has grown, one of the things that has meant the most to me is seeing our work recognized by the community we serve. In July 2026, Delish Thai Kitchen received a Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives for our commitment to the San Fernando Valley and our contributions as a local small business.
That recognition was especially meaningful because running a small restaurant is not always easy, and so much of the work happens behind the scenes. To have our dedication acknowledged in this way reminded me that what we are building is bigger than a restaurant. We are becoming part of the community.
We were also honored to be recognized as a BusinessRate Best of 2026 Award Winner, based on Google reviews. Knowing that our customers took the time to share their experiences and that those reviews helped bring recognition to our restaurant is incredibly rewarding.
For me, these recognitions aren’t just awards to display on a wall. They represent the customers who have supported us, the employees who work hard every day, and the community that has given Delish Thai Kitchen the opportunity to grow. They motivate me to keep improving and to continue creating a place where people feel welcome.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building the restaurant has been one of the most meaningful and challenging journeys of my life. Running a small food business means wearing many different hats, from managing employees and food costs to handling the everyday demands of serving customers and keeping the restaurant moving forward. There have been long days, unexpected obstacles, and moments when I questioned whether I could keep up. But each challenge has taught me something, strengthened me, and helped me grow not only as a business owner, but also as a person.
What continues to inspire me most is our customers. Seeing someone enjoy a dish we have prepared with care, return with their family or friends, or tell us that our food reminds them of home is incredibly meaningful. Those moments make all the hard work worthwhile. They remind me that Delish Thai Kitchen is not simply a restaurant—it is a way for me to share a part of my culture, my memories, and my heart with others.
My hope is for Delish Thai Kitchen to be more than just a place to get a meal. I want every guest to experience a little taste of Thailand through our food, discover something new, and feel genuinely welcomed each time they walk through our doors.

As the owner and operator of Delish Thai Kitchen, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff, customer service, food quality, menu development, purchasing, costs, marketing, and business growth. I’m involved in every aspect of the restaurant and work closely with my team to make sure we provide authentic Thai food and a welcoming experience for our customers
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The restaurant industry continues to evolve as customers seek flavorful, authentic, affordable, and convenient dining options\. Thai cuisine is well positioned because of its bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and variety\.
Delish Thai Kitchen sees strong potential in Thai street food and offers traditional flavors in an approachable, convenient format for both Thai food enthusiasts and newcomers\. However, rising food, labor, rent, and operating costs, along with increased price sensitivity, continue to challenge restaurants\. Success will depend on controlling costs, providing efficient service, and adapting to customer preferences\.
Our outlook is optimistic\. By staying true to our culinary roots and responding thoughtfully to customer needs, Delish Thai Kitchen can strengthen its brand and build lasting customer relationships\.
