Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassian Cox Solorzano.
Hi cassian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
i started making music in 2024 with my friend Aaronixir. He’s actually who inspired me to start rapping. But eventually i found my own style and sound. I started with more boom bap old rapping stuff, but i found rage/melodic sounds so fun to make, so i stuck with that. I don’t even make music for fame or money for real. i just do it because it makes me happy and it’s really fun. i’ve never connected with anything as close as i have to music. i think im just meant for it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
i’ve had quite the obstacles such as finding a good name for myself and a supportive fan base. but i have around 500 active listeners and that’s a solid start. summer of 2026 was difficult because i made a song that blew up to 50K streams but eventually god taken down. i was able to touch little bits of fame for a second which was kind of nice.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
i’m so proud of how i’ve grown and became a better artist overall. i listen to my old music and look in the mirror like “wow i used to make this trash” but now i look into the mirror at my newer music and go “yeah i made this!” so it’s all about perspective.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
my favorite podcast growing up has always been ‘scary story podcast’ i also love horror anything so i love stephen king, one of the best writers ever. For apps i mainly use tiktok, i find it easy to meet people as well as enjoy the content on the app. I also love spotify, what would i do without being able to listen to OsamaSon.
