Exploring Life & Business with Christina Rodriguez of All things Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Rodriguez.

Hi Christina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into aesthetics really started long before I opened All Things Aesthetics. I’ve spent over 10 years in healthcare, beginning as a CNA, then becoming an LVN, and eventually earning my RN and BSN. Each step taught me something different about patient care, but I always knew I wanted to build something of my own—something that combined my medical background with my passion for beauty, confidence, and helping people feel like the best version of themselves.

I opened All Things Aesthetics in 2024, and what started as a vision has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. Building a business from the ground up while continuing to work bedside as a nurse, being a mom, and furthering my education definitely challenged me, but it also showed me what I was capable of.

This year marked a huge turning point in my journey. After years of working in bedside nursing while simultaneously building my business, I made the decision to officially step away from the bedside and dedicate myself fully to All Things Aesthetics and the next chapter of my career. I also completed my BSN and am now pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Becoming a Nurse Practitioner feels like the natural next step for me. I’m passionate about continuing to expand my knowledge and scope as a provider so I can offer an even higher level of care to my patients and continue growing All Things Aesthetics in a way that is safe, intentional, and rooted in medicine.

Today, All Things Aesthetics has grown into more than I originally imagined. I now have an amazing team alongside me, a beautiful space where I get to care for my patients, and a community that has supported my business from the very beginning. My goal has never been to completely change the way someone looks. I believe in enhancing what is already there, aging gracefully, educating my patients, and creating treatment plans that help people feel confident while still looking like themselves.

I’m still very much in the middle of my story. I’m continuing my education, pursuing my Nurse Practitioner degree, growing as a business owner and provider, and constantly thinking about what is next for All Things Aesthetics. Looking back at where I started and where I am today makes me incredibly grateful and even more excited for where we’re going.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I truly believe the challenges have shaped me into the provider, business owner, and person I am today.

One of my biggest struggles has been learning how to balance everything. I’m a mom first, and while building All Things Aesthetics, I was also working as a bedside nurse, continuing my education, and trying to grow a business at the same time. There were many seasons where I felt like I was constantly wearing multiple hats and learning how to give my best to each part of my life without losing myself in the process.

Entrepreneurship itself has also been a huge learning experience. When you own a business, you quickly realize that being great at what you do is only one piece of it. You also have to learn leadership, finances, marketing, compliance, managing a team, making difficult decisions, and how to adapt when things don’t go as planned. A lot of that I had to learn through experience, trial and error, and simply being willing to keep going.

I’ve also had to learn that growth sometimes requires letting go of things that once felt comfortable. Leaving bedside nursing was a big decision for me because nursing had been such a huge part of my identity and provided a sense of security. But I knew I had reached a point where I needed to trust what I had built and give myself permission to fully pursue the vision I had for my business and my future.

I’m naturally someone who holds myself to a very high standard, so one of my biggest personal lessons has been accepting that I don’t have to have everything figured out at once. Every challenge has taught me something, and even the difficult seasons have played a role in getting me where I am today. I’m still learning, still growing, and now pursuing my master’s to become a Family Nurse Practitioner while continuing to build All Things Aesthetics. I wouldn’t necessarily call the road smooth, but I would absolutely say it has been worth it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Absolutely. I think that belongs in this answer because your brand isn’t only about the services you provide—it’s also about the impact you want to have in your community. I’d word it in a way that shows your giving heart without sounding like you’re calling yourself generous.

All Things Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics and wellness practice focused on helping patients feel confident while still looking and feeling like themselves. We offer a variety of treatments, including neuromodulators such as Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, regenerative treatments such as PRF, hair restoration, IV hydration, vitamin injections, wellness services, and medically guided weight management.

While we offer many different services, I would say what we are most known for is our natural approach to aesthetics. I’ve never believed that aesthetic treatments should completely change someone’s appearance. My philosophy is about enhancing what you already have, softening the signs of aging, maintaining your results over time, and ultimately helping you age gracefully. Sometimes the best result is when someone looks at you and thinks you look refreshed but can’t quite tell what you had done.

Education is also a huge part of my practice. I want my patients to understand what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, what is realistic, and what may not be appropriate for them. I’m very honest with my patients, even when that means telling someone they don’t need a treatment or that I wouldn’t recommend something they came in asking for. I never want someone to feel like they are being sold a service. I want them to feel like they have a provider they can trust.

I think what sets All Things Aesthetics apart is that we really focus on the entire patient experience and building long-term relationships. Aesthetics and wellness are not one-size-fits-all, and it’s rarely about one treatment. I love creating individualized plans that may incorporate injectables, skin treatments, regenerative aesthetics, IV hydration, vitamin injections, wellness, and lifestyle support depending on the patient and their goals. My nursing background has also shaped the way I practice. Patient safety, education, assessment, and continuing education will always be at the foundation of my brand.

But All Things Aesthetics is about more than aesthetics and wellness to me—it’s also about community. Being able to build something meaningful within the small community that has supported me means so much to me. Giving back, supporting other local businesses, and finding ways to pour into the people around me are all values I want this brand to continue representing.

I’m especially passionate about supporting and empowering the next generation of nurses, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders. I want young people in our community to see that where you start does not determine where you can go. Whether it’s sharing my journey, speaking to students, mentoring others, or simply being someone who encourages them to keep pursuing their goals, I hope I can help the next generation believe a little more in what is possible for them. I want All Things Aesthetics to be known not only for the services we provide, but also for having a giving heart and being a business that genuinely supports and invests in its community.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust and community we have built. All Things Aesthetics started as an idea and has grown into a space with an incredible team and patients who continue to support us, refer their friends and family, and allow us to be part of their confidence and wellness journey. That means more to me than simply growing in numbers.

I want readers to know that All Things Aesthetics is a place where you can come as you are. You don’t have to know exactly what treatment you need, and you certainly don’t need to change everything about yourself. My job is to listen, educate, guide you, and create a plan that makes sense for you. As I continue pursuing my master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, my vision is to continue expanding All Things Aesthetics while staying true to what the brand was built on: safe, intentional, natural results, genuine patient care, education, empowerment, and community.

That addition gives the magazine a much fuller picture of what All Things Aesthetics stands for beyond aesthetics itself.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think over the next 5–10 years, the aesthetics industry is going to continue moving toward a much more comprehensive approach to beauty, wellness, prevention, and healthy aging. Patients are becoming more educated and are looking for more than just a single treatment—they want providers they trust who can help them create a long-term plan and bring different aspects of their care together.

I also think we will continue to see a shift toward more natural and preventative aesthetics. Rather than trying to completely change the way someone looks, I believe patients are becoming more interested in maintaining their features, improving skin quality, supporting overall wellness, and aging gracefully. Regenerative treatments, personalized treatment plans, wellness services, and combination therapies will continue to become a bigger part of the industry.

That direction aligns closely with my long-term vision for All Things Aesthetics. My goal is to continue growing into a comprehensive medspa and eventually create a true one-stop destination for aesthetics, beauty, and wellness within our community. I would love to bring other talented professionals into the space, including estheticians, massage therapists, brow and lash artists, and other beauty and wellness professionals, so patients can receive multiple services from people they trust all under one roof.

As I continue pursuing my master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, I also see my role and the services I’m able to provide continuing to expand. I want to continue bridging aesthetics, wellness, and medicine while always keeping patient safety, education, and individualized care at the center.

Ultimately, I see All Things Aesthetics becoming much bigger than just an aesthetics practice. I envision a collaborative space where women and professionals in different areas of the beauty and wellness industry can grow alongside one another, support each other, and serve our community together. I want to create opportunities for other professionals while continuing to expand what we can offer locally, so our community doesn’t always have to travel outside of the area to access high-quality aesthetics, beauty, and wellness services.

The industry will continue to evolve, and I want to evolve with it but never at the expense of the values All Things Aesthetics was built on: education, safety, natural results, community, and helping people feel confident in who they already are.
