Hidden Gems: Meet Irene Kachel of Irene Kachel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Irene Kachel.

Hi Irene, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started in banking, loans, and high-level sales. The money was good, but the security wasn’t. After multiple layoffs, I was working more, missing time with my family, and never feeling truly ahead.
After my fifth layoff, I made a decision. I wasn’t going back.
I started my first business as a personal assistant. It took off, but I was constantly on the go and burning out. It didn’t take long to realize I had just created another job for myself.
What I did enjoy was the behind-the-scenes work. I taught myself how to build websites, create systems, and make it easier for small businesses to operate and get paid without being tied to an office. At some point, it clicked. I could use the same strategies for myself.
So I did.
I shifted into contract work from home and started helping people build and run home-based businesses. I was working virtually before it was normal, and when the world moved in that direction, I was already there.
For years, our life revolved around travel and my son’s baseball. I worked from hotel rooms, cars, wherever we were. I built my business to support that life, not the other way around.
Over time, working with hundreds of clients, I saw the same pattern. It wasn’t strategy that was holding people back. It was how they thought about money, how they felt about it, and how much control they believed they had over it. Once that shifts, everything else starts to move.
That became the foundation of my work.
Today, I work with people who are ready to take control of their income and how they live. Not just to make more money, but to build something that actually supports their life. A business that moves with them, not one they’re stuck inside. I do that through coaching, my membership, speaking, and my book Infinite Wealth, all focused on real financial independence.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road.
I came from a corporate background where things looked stable on the outside, but I went through multiple layoffs and long hours that kept me away from my family. That alone forced me to rethink everything.
We wanted the time and flexibility to travel, and I couldn’t see a way to do that staying where I was.
When I started my first business, it took off, but I quickly realized I had recreated the same problem. I was overworked and heading straight toward burnout. It took time to understand that building a business isn’t just about making money. It’s about building a life around what matters, and then building the work to support it.
There were also seasons of inconsistency. Making good money, then not feeling secure. Knowing what to do strategically, but still seeing gaps in results. That was frustrating, especially coming from a background where I understood how money worked on paper.
What changed things for me was recognizing that the struggle wasn’t just external. It was internal. My relationship with money, my beliefs, and how I was operating day to day all played a role.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Irene Kachel?
My business is built around helping people take control of their income and their time.
I work with individuals who are making money but not getting ahead, or who are ready to build something of their own. I specialize in helping them create income in a way that supports their life, not one that keeps them stuck.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t just focus on strategy. Most people already have access to information, but they’re still not seeing the results they want. The difference is how they think about money, how they feel about it, and how they show up around it day to day.
That’s where I focus.
My background in banking, lending, and business gives me a strong foundation in how money works. The real shift happens when people change their relationship with money and start operating from a place of clarity and control instead of stress or reaction.
I’m most proud of building a business that reflects what I actually believe in. My work supports a life built around time, flexibility, and choice, and I help my clients do the same. That includes 1:1 coaching, my membership, speaking, and my book Infinite Wealth: Secrets to Ignite Financial Success.
At the end of the day, I’m not just helping people make more money. I help them build income that supports their life, not the other way around.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’ve had support at different stages that made a real impact.
I’m grateful to Christian Mickelsen’s team, who believed in my work and gave me the opportunity to support high-level clients. That experience expanded my perspective and helped shape the way I work today.
I also give a lot of credit to my younger self. The resilience, decisions, and challenges I navigated built the foundation for the insights I now teach.
And my husband deserves a lot of credit. When I decided to step away from traditional work and build a business virtually, it was a big shift. It wasn’t the safe or predictable path, but he supported me through it.
Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made, and I’m grateful he trusted it with me.
