Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Mosley.
Hi Kyle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Kyle Mosley. I’m married to my beautiful wife, Sara, and together we have five daughters, three sons, and one granddaughter. Family has always been the foundation of my life and the motivation behind everything I do.
When I was around six years old, my family moved from Bakersfield to Pismo Beach after my parents purchased a local grocery store. They worked incredibly hard, and because of that I spent much of my childhood in the store, helping wherever I could. Those early years taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and serving people with integrity.
I played baseball throughout my life, including at the college level, where I learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
My career in construction began in my twenties, installing fire sprinkler systems with Alpha Fire. For the past 10+ years, I have specialized in plumbing and have built my business primarily through word-of-mouth referrals. I believe that earning trust through quality workmanship, honest communication, and treating customers with respect is the best form of advertising.
I am passionate about setting goals and continually improving myself. I currently hold my C-36 Plumbing Contractor license and am working toward obtaining my B General Building Contractor license to expand the services I can offer while keeping my business intentionally small enough to maintain exceptional quality and personal communication with every client.
Looking ahead, I hope to earn my helicopter pilot license, continue growing as a business owner, and, most importantly, be the best husband, father, grandfather, and member of my community that I can be. Success, to me, isn’t measured only by business—it’s measured by the impact I have on the people around me and the legacy I leave for my family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve faced was taking the leap from working for someone else to starting my own business. Leaving the security of a paycheck to build something from the ground up was intimidating, but I believed in my abilities and was willing to take that risk.
Building a company with my wife hasn’t always been easy. We’ve had to make sacrifices, work long hours, and navigate the ups and downs that come with owning a small business. In the beginning, I had to do everything myself—from performing the work to estimating jobs, managing customers, and running the business.
Another challenge has been learning that success isn’t just about working hard; it’s about constantly improving, communicating well with customers, and adapting to new opportunities. Every obstacle has made me a better contractor, business owner, husband, and father.
Today, those experiences motivate me to keep learning, continue expanding my business, and provide the highest level of quality and service to every customer.

I own a plumbing business and take pride in helping people, continuously learning, and growing both personally and professionally. I am currently working toward earning my General Contractor (B) License to expand the services I provide.
My company specializes in all aspects of plumbing, including service and repair, remodels, whole-house repipes, new construction, gas line installation, water treatment systems, and more. As my business continues to grow, I am also expanding into building fences, decks, and other residential construction projects.
I enjoy being hands-on with every job. I personally perform the work because it allows me to maintain the level of quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that my clients expect. My goal is not to become the biggest company—I want to build a reputation for honest communication, exceptional workmanship, and treating every customer’s home as if it were my own.
For me, success is measured by the trust my clients place in me and by continually improving my skills while delivering quality work that lasts.

I’ve always been willing to take risks. Building a business from the ground up isn’t easy, but I’ve never been afraid to bet on myself.
My wife and I built this company together with hard work, determination, and a vision for something better. I reached a point where I was tired of working for someone else and knowing I was capable of more. I wanted the opportunity to create the life I envisioned for my family while building a business I could truly be proud of.
Starting my own company was a leap of faith, but it was one I never hesitated to take. Every challenge has been an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow. I believe that calculated risks, combined with integrity, hard work, and a commitment to quality, are what turn goals into reality.
That mindset continues to drive me today as I expand my business, earn my General Contractor (B) License, and take on new challenges. I’m always looking for ways to grow while staying true to the values that built this company from the very beginning.
