Hi Carlee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Timely Designs was born from a divine calling and a lifelong passion for creativity that began during my time at Coastal Christian School. Growing up on the Central Coast, I always knew I wanted to serve my community through design. After graduating from Allan Hancock College, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from San Diego State University.
My professional journey began as a lead designer for a local design-build firm, where I gained invaluable, hands-on experience in both interior design and the complexities of construction. This background allows me to ensure that every project is not only beautiful but also functional and expertly executed. Now in our third year of business, I am incredibly grateful for the community support, our trusted industry network, and the wonderful clients we have the privilege of serving. We specialize in full-service luxury interior design for primary residences and secondary estates, both here on the Central Coast and beyond.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My friends and I often remind each other of a simple truth: “You choose your hard.” When I decided to launch my interior design studio at 23, I knew the path wouldn’t be easy. It was a true leap of faith, the kind where you step out of the boat and choose to embrace the risk. I accepted that I might fall flat, but I also recognized the potential for something extraordinary: financial independence, creative autonomy, and the ability to bless my community and future generations.
Of course, the road has been marked by challenges, and I know more will follow. But I’ve learned to keep my eyes on the horizon and my hopes high. I encourage others to pursue the dream planted in their hearts, even if they have to do it scared. There is so much more around the corner of your “yes” than you could ever imagine.

What are your plans for the future?
My future plans involve scaling my team to ensure our projects continue to thrive and our clients receive the high level of support they deserve. I am also working toward one day opening a by appointment-only studio space for my team and clients, all while remaining committed to growing my business on the Central Coast for generations to come.
