Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Sanchez.
Hi Daniel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Daniel Sanchez, born and raised in Santa Maria. I began my detailing journey shortly after my son turned 1 years old back in 2021. I had previously worked for another gentleman who had his own car wash business while I was in high school. Growing up I was always a fan of cars. I started off in the truck bed of my 1995 Ford F150. My passion for detailing really began with that truck. It was the truck i drove all throughout high school, all while constantly detailing it on the weekends. I bought a pressure washer, a generator and a vacuum and threw a huge water tank in the bed of that truck.
Throughout the past 5 years I’ve always worked a full time job, detailing would come on the weekends or after work. After a short while I saved up and bought a suv and a trailer to use for detailing. That suv and trailer would eventually turn in a full decked out mobile rig out of the back of my ford transit connect. I finally took the risk and made the jump full time and it’s been the greatest decision I’ve ever made. Now we focus on details such as ceramic coatings, paint polishing and general detailing. We are conveniently located at your doorstep bringing you peace of mind and a freshly detailed car.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not, the f150 we started off with began giving us a bunch of problems. Suspension work, motor work, eventually the fuel pumps went bad and we would be stranded at times.
As you know, we’re big fans of Danny’s Auto Spa. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Danny’s Auto Spa is a professional mobile detailing company, we service Santa Maria and surrounding areas. I started this business with a simple goal, to bring quality professionalism and attention to detail that speaks far beyond a traditional car wash or detail service.
We specialize in premium ceramic coatings, paint correction and interior restorations along with ongoing vehicle maintenance. We work on anything from work trucks to high end 6 figure cars and no matter which type of vehicle we’re working on the goal is to bring the same level of care and craftsmanship to each detail.
I’m most proud of the reputation we have built in the community soled based off of word of mouth and referrals. We have accumulated over 60+ 5 star google reviews many of our clients trust us with their vehicle with our ongoing maintenance program which something I take pride in.
This began as something I built all while working a full time job to something that has grown to the point I can take that leap and go full time. For me the brand means more than just clean cars to me it represents craftsmanship, consistency, trust and building something of my own that I can continue growing for years to come.
How do you define success?
I define success by the life I’m able to build for my family, not just by how much money I make or how big Danny’s Auto Spa becomes. One of the things I’m most proud of is being there for the everyday moments and not missing out on huge milestones. I have a 6 year old, a 1 year old and a new born (Mathew, Julia & Noah) being involved and be able to watch them grow is something I’ll always cherish and hold close to my heart.
Of course I’d like Danny’s Auto Spa to grow and I have huge plans for the business but the purpose behind that goal is my family. Being able to provide for them, creating opportunities for their futures and still be present, then I consider myself successful. At the end of the day. I don’t want to build a successful business at the expense of missing my kids grow up. All this wouldn’t be possible without the help of my wife Genevieve who runs a lot of behind the scenes and cares for our children
