Hi Guadalupe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have been in the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. I started doing my own makeup in 7th grade right before school and would do all of my friends makeup for fun and for school events. I started taking it seriously by 8th grade and would charge for the makeup service. I got so passionate about it that I pursued it through my high school years, even missing events like prom to be the makeup artist for it. I got certified in Ombre Powder Brows right when covid hit in 2020, and decided to pursue my dreams of owning my own business. I created my own cosmetics brand , “Guadalupe De Dios Cosmetics, LLC”, where I have big plans. In 2024 I was pregnant and decided to go back to beauty school to receive my Esthetician License. I was booked and busy all pregnancy up until I had him. I have learned to manage anxiety, life changes, all while being a young mother and a business owner. I don’t regret it a single bit because it’s been a beautiful rollercoaster of a journey from meeting and working with all types of beauty, skin, textures, and everything that comes with this industry. I love it and can’t wait to own the recipe- not only the bakery. I can’t wait to be able to supply and help other woman, artists, and anyone that I am able to impact in any way as I grow my business and continue to grow as a woman and mother.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have dealt with anxiety and depression most of my life growing up so it has been a roller coaster dealing with that and also trying to balance a business and showing up for myself. I have juggled showing up when I have had rough mornings trying to get up and feel like myself. I have learned to manage anxiety and take it a day at a time, sometimes a moment at a time.

I specialize in Professional Makeup Services, Customized Facials, Korean Facials, & Semi-Permanent Makeup. I am a Pro Mua and Licensed Esthetician. I am proud of all of the work and services that I do, what sets me apart is the way that I invest into my business in professional courses, products, I invest into making my clients and everyone around me feel as radiant as possible. I am proud of showing up everyday through every life changes like my depression stages, my pregnancy, through motherhood, and while working. I show up and I show out and I remind myself of why I do this and why I’m so passionate about my creativity. My creativity benefits others in many ways and that soothes my soul.
What are your plans for the future?
I am planning for alot of big things in the future, both personally and in my business. Personally I have alot I am looking forward to as well as continuing to grow in every way possible and continue learning about myself. As for my business I am looking forward to adding more advanced services, products and inventory for my brand. It is something I have always wanted but the best things in life take time, and my business will always invest in the best way possible.
