Life & Work with Salvatore of Central Coast (California)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Salvatore.

Hi Salvatore, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was getting close to 60 and I wasn’t getting as much joy out of my work as a general contractor as I used to. I had gotten my C10 license April 2024 and by January 2025 I decided it was time to pivot. So I stopped taking new jobs. It’s funny, I got some of the biggest opportunities at that time. It was like the universe was testing me. I wrapped up the last few jobs I had and in September 2025 I launched my new business. It was scarry in the begging, my first month I made a whopping $440.00. I implemented some old school marketing tactics and by January I was in the black, for the most part. Since then I added a few new accounts and things are looking up.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m the new guy on the block and it’s taking time go get known.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love to read and I have picked up painting and pencil drawing. I find it hard to find time but I have decided to do something at least 15 minutes every day. That was a suggestion from one of my clients.
