Meet Alma Lozano of De la Luna Soul

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alma Lozano.

Hi Alma, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into healing began after a serious back injury in 2010 changed my life. As I moved through my own healing, I felt called to understand the body, energy, and spirit more deeply. I went to acupuncture school in 2011, began my Reiki Holy Fire training in 2014, and completed Level 3 in 2023. Along the way, I continued developing my intuitive gifts and discovering how I could use them to support others.

Today, through De la Luna Soul, I work as a psychic medium, intuitive oracle reader, energy and sound healer, and spiritual guide. I bring these practices together to meet each person where they are, whether they’re moving through grief, looking for clarity, or ready to reconnect with their own inner wisdom.

I also created Wisdom Circle, a free weekly gathering where we come together for a collective reading, grounding, and community. My work has changed and grown over the years, and I now connect with clients through Zoom. What has stayed at the heart of it all is my desire to hold a loving space where people can feel empowered to move forward in their own way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. After I hurt my back, healing took a long time. I was raising my three daughters on my own, going to school, and doing my best to keep moving forward. We lost my grandmother one year, and the following year I lost my aunt and my great-aunt on the same day. My dad was also diagnosed with cancer. It was a lot for our family to go through.

I think one of the hardest parts was trying to take care of myself while also being there for my daughters and the people I love. There were times I had to slow down or change direction, and that was hard for me. But I kept coming back to this work because it means so much to me.

Those experiences are part of why I hold space for people the way I do. I know what it feels like to be going through something difficult and need someone to really listen. I want people to leave our time together feeling supported, with a little more clarity and trust in themselves.

As you know, we’re big fans of De la Luna Soul. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
De la Luna Soul is the healing and spiritual guidance practice I created to help people find clarity, connection, and support wherever they are in life. I’m a psychic medium, intuitive oracle reader, and energy and sound healer. In my private sessions, I bring those gifts together based on what each person needs. Sometimes that means a reading, connecting with a loved one in spirit, or making space to breathe and receive healing.

What matters most to me is that people feel comfortable being themselves with me. I’m not here to tell anyone what they have to do. I listen, share what comes through, and help them connect with their own wisdom so they can make the choices that feel right for them. My sessions are now offered through Zoom, which lets me connect with people beyond Ventura County.

One of the things I’m most proud of is Wisdom Circle, the free gathering I created for my Soul Family. We come together for a collective reading, grounding, and connection, and everyone who joins live has the opportunity to ask a question. I wanted there to be a place where people could receive support and feel part of a community, whether or not they’re able to book a private session.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Books and YouTube are where I do most of my learning. Right now I’m reading Don’t Wait Till You’re Dead by Matt Fraser and How to Read the Akashic Records by DDS Linda Howe. I follow psychic mediums, tarot and oracle card readers and people who share business guidance on YouTube, and I like being able to learn from different perspectives while continuing to develop my own intuitive senses.

One of my favorite books is The Empath’s Survival Guide by Judith Orloff, M.D. I really connected with that one. The Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy also changed the way I see my progress. It helped me recognize how far I’ve come instead of only looking at what I still need to do. I also enjoyed Who Not How by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy. I’m always learning, but I also listen to my own intuition and pay attention to what feels right for me and for De la Luna Soul.
