Hi Lauren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
When my son was born, I spent my days hanging out with him and taking a lot of photos of him with a Dslr camera my parents had gotten me that year. As I started posting more and more, I had some requests from acquaintances for me to take their family photos and it all went from there! It’s not a full time job but it’s a fun time job and knowing it could be a full time job is always nice to think about!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I mean honestly it’s been pretty a pretty smooth ride! I was never formally trained on how to use my camera- it was all just playing around and then it became a fun job that people pay me to do! There haven’t been struggles so much as learning experiences- forgetting to charge the battery, leaving the memory card at home, not checking the tide schedule for a beach shoot…some mistakes you only make once! (Hopefully)

I specialize in Portrait Photography with a special interest in Editorial and Fashion photography. I’d say I’m most known for my strong use of vibrant colors and strong editing.
How do you think about happiness?
My son. He makes me so happy!
