Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Boone.
Hi Taylor, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story really began long before I had a business.
I became deaf in my left ear when I was five, and I grew up with dyslexia. At the time, those felt like obstacles. Looking back, they were my training ground. I learned how to read a room before I could fully understand the words. I learned body language, emotion, energy, and what was not being said. That became my superpower.
I started my career behind the camera as a commercial photographer and director. For over two decades, I worked with brands, founders, and organizations to create visuals that felt true, elevated, and emotionally honest. But over time, I kept seeing the same problem: people were asking photos and videos to fix what was really a brand clarity issue.
The visuals were not the problem.
The message was.
That realization led me into the work I do now as a Brand Strategy Advisor and founder of The Brand Alchemist™. Today, my work is centered on helping founders, CEOs, and visionary businesses clarify the soul, story, and strategy of their brand so their message finally matches the weight of their work.
I believe a brand is not just a logo, website, or color palette. A brand is the emotional signal people feel before they ever buy from you. When that signal is clear, people trust faster. They understand faster. They buy with more confidence.
My path has been a mix of grit, intuition, faith, creativity, and a deep belief that every person and business carries gold inside them. My job is to extract it, shape it, and turn it into a message that can move people.
That is how I got here.
By learning to listen differently. By learning to see what others miss. And by trusting that the things I once thought made me different were actually the exact things that made me powerful.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road.
But I do not think smooth roads build the kind of depth required to do meaningful work.
I grew up deaf in one ear and dyslexic, so from an early age I had to learn how to navigate the world differently. I had to trust what I felt, what I sensed, and what I noticed beyond words. At the time, those challenges were hard. Today, they are part of the reason I can walk into a room and read what is really happening underneath the surface.
There have also been the obstacles that come with being a woman in large rooms.
That is a real thing.
You walk in knowing you belong, even when the room has not yet decided that for you. That takes internal grit. It takes self-trust. And it is not a one-time lesson. It is something you face and overcome again and again.
Every time I claim my seat at the table, I bring something, and I learn something. That is a win-win for me.
The road has asked me to become stronger, clearer, and more convinced. And I am grateful for that. The struggle shaped my eye, my intuition, my voice, and my ability to stand in rooms with presence.
Nothing was wasted.
As you know, we’re big fans of Taylor Boone The Brand Alchemist. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is The Brand Alchemist™. I work as a Brand Strategy Advisor for founders, CEOs, experts, and organizations whose message no longer matches the weight of their work.
At the core, my work is about brand clarity.
Many businesses think they have a marketing problem, when what they really have is a message problem. They are visible, but not understood. They are talented, but not positioned. They are working hard, but their brand is not carrying the level of trust, authority, or emotional connection needed to grow.
That is where my work begins.
I specialize in extracting the soul, story, and strategy inside a brand. The deeper purpose. The emotional truth. The sharp message. The language, tone, visuals, and positioning that make the right people understand, trust, and buy.
What sets my work apart is my ability to feel what is missing.
After more than 20 years as a commercial photographer and director, I learned that a powerful brand is not just what people see. It is what they feel. A beautiful image or video cannot save a scattered message. The foundation has to be clear first.
That belief shaped the work I do today.
Brand-wise, what I am most proud of is building a business that reflects conviction, depth, faith, creativity, and emotional intelligence. The Brand Alchemist™ is not about surface-level branding. It is about becoming unmistakable.
My offerings include brand advisory, brand audits, messaging strategy, brand storytelling, workshops, courses, and strategic guidance for leaders and businesses ready to clarify their voice, elevate their presence, and build a brand with real weight.
What I want readers to know is this: if you accept money in exchange for a product, service, experience, or expertise, you are already a brand.
The question is whether your brand is clear enough to be remembered.
That is the work I care about most.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe the branding industry is going to split in the next five to ten years.
There will be brands that use AI to create more noise.
And there will be brands that use AI to create more clarity.
That distinction will matter.
AI, when used correctly, will be one of the greatest tools available to any business. It can support research, content development, idea generation, customer insight, market analysis, efficiency, and creative expansion. For small businesses, especially, it can give them access to tools and thinking that once required a much larger team.
But AI cannot replace the soul of a brand.
It cannot replace discernment. It cannot replace lived experience. It cannot replace emotional intelligence, leadership, taste, intuition, or a real point of view.
That is where branding is headed.
The businesses that thrive will not be the ones producing the most content. They will be the ones with the clearest signal. The strongest message. The deepest trust. The most human connection.
As AI creates more information, more posts, more ads, more websites, and more noise, people will crave what feels real. They will want brands with conviction, clarity, and emotional weight.
That is why brand strategy will become more important, not less.
A weak brand using AI will simply become louder.
A clear brand using AI will become unstoppable.
