Rising Stars: Meet Dominique of Central Coast (California)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominique.

Hi dominique, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved from Paris France end of 1998, looked for a business to buy and after a few failed attemps was lucky to find the Secret Garden Inn and cottages. We closed escrow the day of the elections Nov 4, 1999

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, nothing is a smooth road. But you need to stay strong and creative and adaptable … We escaped a few fires , a huge oak tree fell during a storm but luckily in the street. Sometimes you struggle to find good housekeepers, your washing machine or main water heater fail during a busy weekend…..but overall its a very positive experience,

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in having a welcoming atmosphere with a home made breakfast brought to your cottage. We are a unique property with a lush garden and hidden pathways.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
