Community Highlights: Meet Jena Baird of Dharma Yoga Loft & 805 Adventure

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jena Baird.

Hi Jena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I took my first class in college and was instantly hooked. I went to study yoga and wellness and applied it into my life. I saw first hand the impact it can make in my own life. I got excited to share it with others and starting teaching everywhere I could , at gyms, community centers, offering employee wellness programs and more

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have learned a lot from my failures and see them as some of my greatest lessons. I feel that my own pain and challenges is what makes me strive harder, relate to others, and motivates me. I was sick a lot as a child, I couldn’t hear well. This early struggle was what later motivated me to find a better way. I found holistic health and discovered many things that improved my health and well-being. I struggled in school and after a couple of years in college I decided to leave and pursue being an entrepreneur. I discovered my creative abilities, strong work ethic, working well with others, collaborating, coming up with innovated ideas, and skills. From barely passing in high school to later discover my talents was a gift. I was not expected to do well in life and because I was a alternative learner I had my own doubts, facing my falls and doubts is my greatest investment. I hope this motivates others. And a great reminder is we learn as much our challenges as our successes.
