Today we’d like to introduce you to Elias Stanom.
Hi Elias , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Elias Stanom. On March 3, 2014, I came to the United States from Damascus, Syria, on a 45-day visit. As my trip was coming to an end and I was preparing to fly back home on day 42, my family called with shocking news: I couldn’t return to Syria because my name had come up for mandatory military service during the war.
Everything changed in a single moment. It was unexpected, unreal, and honestly terrifying. That was the beginning of a hard, crazy, unforgettable journey that completely changed my life.
Today, after all the struggles and sacrifices, I’m proud to say that I co-own three restaurants with my business partner. I’m married to an amazing wife, and now we’re expecting our baby girl soon.
What once felt like the end of my world became the start of a new life and a dream I never imagined possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every thing was hard but I had so much fun when life was trying to be tough I was tougher and pushing harder and smiling more and having fun more when I was winning
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I did food mix with love! and creat something from nothing
What’s next?
I want to change the culture of food!
