Life & Work with Daniel Cronin of Central Coast (California)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Cronin.

Daniel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
What started as a father-and-son plumbing business on California’s Central Coast in 2016 was built on hard work, determination, and a commitment to helping people. Like many small businesses, the road was not always easy. We faced our share of ups and downs over the years, including the challenges that came with the 2020 pandemic. There were moments that tested us, but through persistence, loyalty to our customers, and dedication to our craft, we pushed through and continued growing.

Today, we are proud to still be serving our community and doing what we love. Our goal has always been more than just fixing plumbing problems — we strive to make every customer’s experience as smooth, honest, and stress-free as possible. Being a locally owned and operated family business means we truly care about the people we serve, and we take pride in helping our community one job at a time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the biggest challenges we have faced were making it through the 2020 pandemic and learning how to navigate working as a family business. Over the years, we have also learned hard lessons about the importance of contracts, communication, and protecting the business. We realized that a handshake is not always enough anymore. Even through the challenges, we kept pushing forward and growing from every experience.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I enjoy the challenges some plumbing projects bring

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
The biggest mentor I had was my friend Tony. He taught me more than any book ever could through real-life experience — from how to communicate with customers to how to think outside the box and approach problems differently.
