Jeremy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As the founder of TRU FX,I feel I represent a rare intersection of artistry, discipline, and elevated creative execution.
Born in Colorado , My artistic foundation began early, with simple drawings with pencil and paper….refined over years of movement, exposure, and self-driven mastery.
My upbringing was shaped by travel alongside a military household, which I feel cultivated both adaptability and vision.
Whereas My professional foundation was forged in the United States Army, where I served as an aviation avionics and armament specialist on Kiowa warrior Scout and Apache Longbow attack platforms,
completing two combat deployments to Afghanistan . This experience instilled a level of precision and operational excellence that now is the DNA of my creative work.
Post-military,
I expanded my technical expertise as a Navy contractor, contributing to MQ-8B and MQ-8C firescout unmanned aviation systems. It was during this chapter that I made a decisive pivot, transforming my lifelong artistic ability into a refined, scalable discipline.
Under the mentorship of elite instructors with ties to Pixar and DreamWorks,
I transitioned seamlessly into the digital design space, elevating my craft in to industry-standard excellence.
Now, as the owner of TRU FX, I operate within a network of premier West Coast businesses and developers and high-level financial infrastructures,
building a brand that reflects exclusivity, precision, and forward-thinking innovation.
Grounded by fatherhood and driven by legacy, my work is not simply creative—it is intentional, calculated, and unequivocally meticulous, truly built for impact.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to building TRU FX has included many obstacles, both personal and professional.
Recovering from the emotional impact of military service and living with PTSD has been one of the most difficult challenges I have faced.
At the same time, I encountered people who doubted my vision and, in some cases, actively attempted to sabotage my advancement.
There were moments of uncertainty, financial strain, and personal sacrifice, but those experiences never stopped me from moving forward.
Instead, I ‘readjusted aim and kept firing’ which only strengthened my determination to build a legacy for my family and create a business rooted in excellence, creativity, and purpose.

I specialize in helping brands, businesses, startups, event organizers, and creators bring their ideas to life through high-end graphic design, custom merchandise, branding, apparel production, 3D motion graphics, DTF printing, and visual marketing solutions.
Every project is approached with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence that has defined my career.
What I am most proud of is the journey itself.
From serving in combat deployments with the U.S. Army to becoming a business owner, father, and creative entrepreneur, every experience has contributed to the foundation of TRU FX.

What sets me apart is that I don’t simply create designs—I build visual experiences that help people grow their businesses, strengthen their brands, and confidently share their vision with the world.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
People are often surprised to learn that the person behind a modern creative brand like TRU FX lives a relatively simple life.
Despite working in graphic design, branding, animation, and digital media,
I don’t own a television.
Instead, I spend much of my free time outdoors, enjoying nature, and focusing on experiences rather than entertainment.
I believe some of life’s greatest inspiration comes from stepping away from screens and reconnecting with the world around us.
That perspective influences both my personal life and my creative work, allowing me to approach every project with a fresh, intentional mindset rooted in authenticity
