Inspiring Conversations with Arturo Ortiz of TAXPOA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arturo Ortiz.

Arturo, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
For years, my life was a blur of endless commutes, late nights analyzing tax codes, and weekends spent taking classes to accomplish the necessary courses to get my IRS E-FIN and CTEC certifications.
I did not want to be just a numbers guy; I was a man who understood the worth of hard work and precision. I saw a gap in the community—people needed a reliable, all-in-one partner who could handle the headaches of tax season, navigate mobile notary needs, and provide accurate, certified vehicle appraisals. I envisioned a business that stood apart from the rest. The idea for TAXPOA was born.
I didn’t want it to be just another tax office; I wanted it to represent my slogan: “Not an ordinary tax office.” I am still working day by day tourn the dream into reality.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have always been good with numbers, so the taxes portion was a smooth road. My stuggle was to learn how to properly write vehicle appraisals and now I am one of the best in both areas.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I specialize in tax preparation for businesses and personal. I am a mobile notary public. My expertise in vehicle appraisals make my office apart from others. I am proud that make my clients better and help them increase their profits. I want people to know that I will assist them even pass my capacities to have a better interactive experience.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I like to listen to podcast from Alex Dey. He is a well known motivator and give a lot of business and life advises.
