Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicoletta Puccini.
Hi Nicoletta , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My path into this work wasn’t a straight line. I grew up in a family where mental health challenges, trauma, and instability were part of everyday life. From a young age, I became fascinated by what helps people heal and what allows us to move beyond our circumstances.
I spent many years working in the corporate world while also raising two children as a single mother. On the outside, life looked successful, but like many people, I was carrying stress, anxiety, and old emotional patterns that I hadn’t fully addressed. My own healing journey led me to yoga first, then into breathwork, somatic healing, and myofascial release.
When I experienced the power of breathwork for myself, it changed everything. For the first time, I wasn’t just talking about my experiences, I was able to feel, process, and release them through my body. It gave me a deeper understanding of how stress, trauma, and emotions are stored physically and how healing can happen when we create the right conditions for the nervous system to feel safe.
Over the years, I trained in therapeutic yoga, breathwork facilitation, NLP, hypnotherapy, and other healing modalities. Eventually, I founded Chameleon Breathwork to bring together the approaches that had the greatest impact on my own life and the lives of my clients.
Today, I help people reconnect with themselves through breathwork, myofascial release, and nervous system-focused healing. Whether I’m working one-on-one, leading workshops, or hosting retreats, my goal is simple: to help people feel more at home in their bodies and trust their own capacity to heal and grow.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. Like many people who are drawn to healing work, my path was shaped by my own challenges. I’ve navigated childhood trauma, anxiety, single motherhood, financial uncertainty, and periods where I felt completely disconnected from myself. There were times when I was balancing a demanding corporate career while trying to be present for my children and manage my own healing journey.
Building a business has brought its own set of challenges. There have been moments of self-doubt, setbacks, and plenty of lessons in patience. Starting over, taking risks, and trusting myself hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had to learn how to embrace uncertainty and keep moving forward even when I couldn’t see the entire path ahead.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that healing and growth are not linear. We don’t arrive at some perfect destination where everything is figured out. Instead, we learn how to meet life’s challenges with more awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.
Looking back, I’m grateful for the struggles because they deepened my understanding of the work I do today. They taught me that healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about coming home to who you truly are. Those experiences allow me to connect with my clients from a place of authenticity rather than theory, and that’s something I wouldn’t trade.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Chameleon Breathwork was created to help people who look like they’re functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients are successful, capable people who have spent years taking care of everyone else while putting their own needs last. They’re dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, or simply a feeling that they’ve lost touch with themselves.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t believe healing happens through talking alone. The body plays a critical role in how we process stress, emotions, and life experiences. Through a combination of breathwork, myofascial release, nervous system education, and personalized coaching, I help clients move beyond understanding their patterns intellectually and begin creating real change in their daily lives.
My services include private one-on-one sessions, transformational programs, group workshops, and retreats. One offering I’m especially excited about is my women’s retreat in Costa Rica on August 27-31st, where participants step away from the demands of everyday life and have the opportunity to reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. The retreat combines breathwork, body-based healing, relaxation, community, and time in nature to help women reset, gain clarity, and return home feeling more grounded and energized.
What I’m most proud of is creating a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re carrying. My clients often tell me that for the first time in a long time, they feel seen, heard, and understood. They leave with practical tools they can use long after our work together ends.
At its core, Chameleon Breathwork is about helping people come back to themselves, so they can feel more present, resilient, connected, and fully engaged in their lives.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
One of the books that has stayed with me the longest is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I’ve read it multiple times throughout different seasons of my life, and each time it speaks to me in a new way. Its message about trusting your path, listening to your intuition, and having the courage to follow what calls you has been especially meaningful as I’ve built my business and navigated life’s challenges.
I also enjoy books and podcasts that explore the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system, but honestly, some of my greatest resources aren’t found in books at all. Time in nature, breathwork, movement, journaling, and being present with my children are what help me stay grounded and connected.
As someone who teaches healing and nervous system regulation, I’ve learned that growth isn’t just about consuming more information, it’s about creating space to listen to ourselves. Some of my best insights have come during a walk in the redwoods, sitting quietly after a breathwork session, or simply slowing down enough to pay attention to what my body is trying to tell me.
