Trinity Financial Services is an independent mortgage brokerage serving clients throughout California. Located in Solvang, California, in the heart of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, we provide a full range of lending solutions, including home purchase loans, refinance loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs), and reverse mortgages.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The mortgage industry has undergone significant changes over the years, and navigating an ever-evolving real estate market can be challenging. From periods of rapid property appreciation to times of economic uncertainty, staying informed and making sound financial decisions has never been more important.
During the years leading up to the housing market downturn, many lenders offered loan programs that were not always well understood by borrowers or aligned with their long-term financial interests. At Trinity Financial Services, we maintained a more conservative approach, focusing on responsible lending practices and ensuring that clients fully understood their financing options.
The market correction that followed brought unprecedented challenges, with foreclosures and short sales becoming a significant part of the real estate landscape. Fortunately, the market has stabilized over time, and our commitment remains unchanged: to provide loan solutions that are appropriate for each client’s financial situation and goals. We believe that responsible lending, clear communication, and personalized guidance are the foundation of successful homeownership and long-term financial well-being.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Trinity Financial Services?
Julie DeMarcus began her career in the real estate industry in 1985 as Assistant to the Escrow Manager at a local title company. Through dedication and expertise, she advanced to become a Certified Escrow Officer before transitioning to the lending side of the industry. In 1994, Julie obtained her California Real Estate License and has since built a distinguished career helping clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence.
In 1999, Julie began running Trinity Financial Services, which has proudly served clients throughout California for nearly three decades. As a longtime resident of the Santa Ynez Valley, Julie considers it a privilege to live and work in such a close-knit community. Throughout her career, she has helped countless families achieve their dreams of homeownership, assisted homeowners in securing refinance solutions to improve cash flow and meet personal financial goals, and provided guidance and support during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I met my husband, Andy, in 1987 while handling the escrow for his property purchase in Buellton. We married in 1988 and have been blessed with two wonderful children. Our son, Zach, lives in Santa Barbara and works alongside me in the mortgage industry, while our daughter, Nicole, resides in Costa Mesa and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Family has always been at the heart of my life, and I consider myself fortunate to live and work in a community I love. Helping clients achieve their homeownership and financial goals has been both a privilege and a passion throughout my career, and I truly enjoy what I do every day.
