Hi Victoria, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We came to the USA 12 years ago with a dream of building a nurturing environment where young children can learn, grow and thrive. Our love for children and deep commitment to helping shape the next generation are at the heart of everything we do at our school.
This year we will celebrate 10 years of having our school. It all started as a dream to be part of Ventura community and help families raise children. It takes a village they say…
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am pretty sure that every business has its ups and downs. Covid pandemic was definitely the most challenging time for us. Trying to provide safety for everyone, keep the jobs, stay financially afloat….
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Ventura Children`s Learning Center?
We are a private school in Ventura offering services for young children aged 8 week to 6 years. old. We are known in our community for providing an active, nurturing, and challenging environment that encourages curiosity, active learning, values, problem-solving, language development, and a positive self-image. We take our kids to the educational and fun field trips. We strive to build long-lasting relationships with the families. It is a pure joy to see those little ones grow from infancy to kindergarten.
We are huge fans and followers of Positive/Conscious Discipline approach implementing its strategies in every classroom teaching children to reframe mistakes as vital opportunities to learn.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
There is no school without teachers. They act as mentors, motivators, and role models for our young learners.
Together with families we have been able to create a supportive environment for lifetime learners.
