Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiina Keskitupa.
Tiina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a model, artist and background actress from Finland, living in Orange County, California. I left Finland at 18 and moved to England first. I was doing different jobs there and at 27 I started to pursue modeling. Also started to do little bit of background acting, but not very often then yet. I moved to USA in 2013, few years after that started to do more art too, and started selling my paintings.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I didn’t know anyone in the industry when I started so I’ve had to learn everything myself.
I’ve seen many people come and go in the industry, but I’ve never stopped trying.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do modeling and background acting. Sometimes also paint, been selling my art since 2016.
I started modeling in 2010 in London. I’ve posed for photos and videos. Same year also started some background acting, but only past couple of years I’ve been doing it more frequently. At the moment I pose for lot of art classes around Orange County.
And acting in Hollywood in many tv shows. Can’t tell before they come out, but previously I’ve been on background in shows like Countdown, 9-1-1, Euphoria, etc.
I’m most proud of that I’ve been in the industry for so many years, and that I’m now getting to work in Hollywood in famous studios. Sometimes get to work alongside with some stars too.

I use different websites and social media to apply for work. Central Casting, Everyset, Alessi Hartigan, Modelmayhem, different Facebook groups.
For podcasts I mainly listen true crime, that’s my gym listening.
