Today we’d like to introduce you to Jassy Jackson.
Hi Jassy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has always been about understanding what helps people heal and thrive. From a young age, I was drawn to spirituality, intuition, and the unseen world. By the age of 12, I was reading cards, collecting crystals, and exploring different forms of divination. At the same time, I was also deeply fascinated by psychology and human behavior, wanting to understand why people think, feel, and experience life the way they do.
As life unfolded, I faced my own health challenges, including fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. My healing wasn’t the result of one breakthrough or one practitioner. It was a journey that spanned more than 25 years and included support from chiropractors, acupuncturists, Reiki masters, curanderas, mentors, and teachers from various healing traditions. Those experiences taught me that while guidance is invaluable, true healing ultimately comes from reconnecting with ourselves.
Professionally, I built a successful career in business leadership, spending more than 15 years leading teams and driving organizational growth in the technology and financial services industries. Today, I serve as a senior executive while continuing to pursue my passion for holistic healing. That combination of corporate leadership, psychology, and spiritual practice allows me to bridge two worlds that are often seen as separate, helping people create transformation that is both practical and deeply meaningful.
Along the way, I became a Reiki practitioner and teacher, immersed myself in curanderismo, shamanic traditions, sound healing, and Danza de la Luna, and had the privilege of learning from respected elders and teachers who shaped my path with humility and integrity. Their guidance reinforced my belief that healing is not about fixing people, but about helping them remember who they already are.
That belief became the foundation for Crysta Luna. Through energy healing, sound, ceremony, education, and mentorship, I help people reconnect with their inner wisdom, navigate life transitions, and create lasting change. My mission is simple: to create spaces where people feel seen, empowered, and inspired to live with greater clarity, authenticity, and joy.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In many ways, the challenges I faced became my greatest teachers.
For years, I lived with fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress while trying to build a successful career. There were times when I felt like I was living two lives, one where I was expected to perform at a high level professionally, and another where I was quietly trying to heal physically and emotionally. Learning to balance those worlds wasn’t easy.
Like many entrepreneurs, I also struggled with self-doubt in the beginning. Building a holistic practice requires vulnerability, especially when you’re stepping into work that is deeply personal and often misunderstood. There were moments when I questioned whether I was qualified enough, whether people would understand my approach, or whether I could successfully balance my corporate career with my calling.
Another important lesson was learning discernment. Throughout my healing journey, I encountered many incredible teachers, but I also experienced situations that taught me the importance of healthy boundaries, integrity, and finding mentors who truly embody the values they teach. Those experiences ultimately made me a better practitioner because they reinforced that creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for clients must always come first.
Perhaps the biggest challenge has been realizing that healing is not a destination. There isn’t a point where you suddenly have everything figured out. Healing is an ongoing practice of self-awareness, growth, and choosing yourself again and again. Today, I still consider myself a student. I continue learning, seeking guidance, and deepening my own practice because I believe the best guides are those who never stop growing themselves.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Crysta Luna?
Crysta Luna was created from the belief that healing should empower people, not create dependence. My goal is to help people reconnect with their own inner wisdom by blending modern psychology with ancient healing traditions in a way that is both practical and deeply meaningful.
I offer Reiki, sound healing, intuitive guidance, spiritual mentorship, ceremonies, workshops, and educational courses designed to help people navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity and confidence. While many people come to me during periods of uncertainty, burnout, grief, or personal transformation, my work isn’t about predicting the future or telling people what to do. Instead, it’s about creating a safe space where they can reconnect with themselves and make decisions that align with who they truly are.
One of the things that sets Crysta Luna apart is my unique background. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, have spent more than 15 years leading organizations as a senior executive, and have trained extensively in Reiki, curanderismo, sound healing, and Indigenous ceremonial traditions. That combination allows me to bridge science, psychology, leadership, and spirituality in a grounded and accessible way. My clients often tell me they appreciate that I can honor both the practical and the spiritual without asking them to choose one over the other.
Education is also a cornerstone of my work. I don’t believe in gatekeeping knowledge. Whether through workshops, speaking engagements, my blog, podcast appearances, or one-on-one sessions, my mission is to give people tools they can continue using long after they leave my practice. I want every client to walk away feeling more empowered, more connected, and more capable of trusting themselves.
What I’m most proud of is the community that has grown around Crysta Luna. It has become a place where people feel accepted exactly as they are, regardless of where they are on their healing journey. My hope is that everyone who experiences my work leaves with a greater sense of peace, purpose, and the confidence to create meaningful change in their own lives.
At its heart, Crysta Luna is more than a healing practice. It is an invitation to slow down, remember who you are, and recognize that the light you’ve been searching for has always existed within you.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’ve come to realize that the greatest risks in my life weren’t financial, they were deeply personal. They were the moments when I chose authenticity over certainty.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken has been allowing myself to fully embrace both sides of who I am. For years, I built a successful corporate career, eventually becoming a senior executive leading large teams and complex operations. At the same time, I felt a calling toward holistic healing, energy work, and Indigenous traditions. Those worlds are often seen as incompatible, and I knew there would be people who questioned whether I could be both a business executive and a spiritual practitioner.
Instead of choosing one identity over the other, I chose to live authentically. That meant being willing to let go of other people’s expectations and trust that my unique path had value. Looking back, that decision has become one of my greatest strengths because it allows me to connect with people from many different backgrounds.
I also believe healing itself requires courage. Whether you’re starting a business, changing careers, ending a relationship, or confronting old wounds, growth asks us to step into the unknown before we know the outcome. There are no guarantees, only the willingness to trust yourself enough to take the next step.
That doesn’t mean I believe in reckless risk-taking. My years in executive leadership taught me to assess situations carefully, gather information, and make thoughtful decisions. I approach risk with both intuition and strategy. Intuition tells me where I feel called to go, while experience helps me determine the best path to get there.
If there’s one lesson I’ve learned, it’s that fear isn’t always a sign to stop. Sometimes it’s a sign that you’re standing at the edge of growth. Many of the opportunities I’m most grateful for began as decisions that felt uncomfortable. Had I waited until I felt completely ready, I probably never would have taken them.
Today, I encourage others to think about risk differently. Rather than asking, “What if I fail?” I ask, “What might I miss if I never try?” More often than not, the biggest regret isn’t taking the leap, it’s wondering what could have happened if you had trusted yourself enough to take it.
