Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara.
Sara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I didn’t set out to build a traditional law firm. From early on in my career, I realized I was most drawn to real estate because every matter is different and every client has a unique goal. Whether someone is buying property, negotiating a lease, dealing with a title issue, or trying to resolve a dispute, I enjoy helping them find practical solutions and avoid unnecessary conflict.
That’s what led me to start my own practice. I wanted to create a firm where clients felt they had a trusted advisor, not just someone reviewing documents or putting out fires. My approach is very proactive. I believe many legal issues can be avoided with the right guidance early on, and I enjoy helping clients think through both the legal and business sides of a decision.
Today, I work with homeowners, investors, business owners, landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers throughout California on a wide range of real estate matters. As both a real estate attorney and a licensed broker, I’m able to bring a practical perspective to every matter.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to make the legal process feel less overwhelming and help people make informed decisions with confidence. I’ve always believed that people make better decisions when things are clear, and that philosophy is at the heart of everything I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building a business while also practicing law at a high level. As a business owner, you’re not just responsible for your clients. You’re also responsible for operations, marketing, finances, and building a team. There are a lot of moving pieces, and you’re constantly learning.
Another challenge has been learning to trust my instincts. Early in my career, I sometimes felt pressure to do things the way they had always been done. Over time, I’ve become much more confident in building a practice that reflects my own values and approach.
Like most entrepreneurs, there have been setbacks and moments of uncertainty, but those experiences have taught me resilience and adaptability. Looking back, I wouldn’t change them because they’ve helped shape both the attorney and the business owner I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Sara Naheedy Law, APC is a California real estate law firm that focuses on helping clients resolve and prevent real estate disputes. While we handle a wide range of real estate matters, our primary focus is mediation and helping parties find practical, cost-effective solutions without unnecessary litigation.
I work with homeowners, buyers, sellers, investors, landlords, tenants, and business owners on issues involving contracts, title, leases, boundary and easement disputes, purchase and sale transactions, and other real estate matters. My goal is always to help clients understand their options and move toward a resolution that makes sense for their specific situation.
I think what sets our firm apart is our approach. We don’t believe every disagreement needs to end up in court. Many disputes can be resolved through thoughtful negotiation and mediation, which often saves clients time, money, and stress. Even when a matter is complex, I focus on finding practical solutions rather than creating more conflict.
As both a real estate attorney and a licensed real estate broker, I bring both legal and industry experience to every matter. That combination helps me see issues from multiple perspectives and give advice that’s not only legally sound but also practical.
At the end of the day, I want clients to feel like they have someone in their corner who is looking out for their best interests. If they leave a conversation with more clarity and confidence than when they came in, then I’ve done my job.
How do you think about luck?
I think luck plays a role, but probably not in the way people usually think. I’ve been fortunate to have great mentors, supportive clients, and opportunities that helped shape my career. Those things matter, and I don’t take them for granted.
At the same time, I believe you have to be prepared when those opportunities come along. Building a business takes consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning. There have been plenty of moments that didn’t go as planned, but I’ve found that those experiences often lead to growth if you’re willing to adapt.
So, while I definitely appreciate the role that timing and opportunity have played in my journey, I think long-term success comes from showing up every day, doing good work, treating people well, and being ready when the right opportunity presents itself.
