Exploring Life & Business with Lisa Constant of Constant Wealth Partners

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Constant.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Financial advising wasn’t my first career—it was the career I never knew I was looking for.

Before entering the financial services industry, I owned and operated several businesses in different industries, including a consulting firm. While my family was living in Hawaii and raising our children, I received a recruiting call from a financial firm and I realized I had found the profession that combined everything I had always loved doing: educating, coaching, strategic planning, and helping people create meaningful change in their lives.
What continues to drive me is how little we teach people about money. We spend years educating children and adults in countless subjects, yet very few people ever receive practical financial education. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with incredibly intelligent, successful people who excel in their professions but have never been taught how to build, protect, and confidently manage their wealth.

That realization became my purpose.

I love partnering with people who want to be intentional about their financial future and who are ready to create the next chapter of their lives. Much of my practice focuses on individuals experiencing significant life transitions—whether that’s navigating divorce, the loss of a spouse, preparing for retirement, or selling a business they’ve spent decades building.

These are not just professional areas of focus for me—they’re deeply personal. I have experienced divorce, serve as a caregiver for my medically complex child and previously both of my parents until they passed. I’ve also built and operated businesses, so I understand firsthand the emotional, financial, and practical complexities that accompany major life transitions. Those experiences have given me perspective, compassion, and an appreciation that every person’s journey is unique. They allow me to meet clients where they are—not only as a financial advisor, but as someone who understands that life’s biggest decisions rarely involve finances alone.

I believe that financial planning shouldn’t happen in a vacuum. Our finances influence nearly every aspect of our lives—from our health and relationships to the opportunities we pursue and the legacy we leave behind. That’s why I take a holistic approach, integrating life, health, and financial coaching into one cohesive plan that supports the whole person—not just their portfolio.

After spending 11 years in the industry, I felt called to take the next step in my own journey. In April 2026, I founded Constant Wealth Partners, bringing together my entrepreneurial background and my passion for helping others. Starting my own firm allowed me to build the kind of practice I had always envisioned—one centered on genuine relationships, personalized guidance, and the freedom to put clients first in every decision.

Today, I have the privilege of helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate life’s biggest transitions with confidence, clarity, and purpose, while building a firm that reflects the values I believe matter most.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Running a business has never been a smooth road, but it has always been worth the drive.
Changing careers later in life was both exciting and humbling. Entering the financial industry required extensive education, licensing, and professional credentials. It had been many years since I had been in a classroom, so one of my first challenges was simply learning how to study again. It reminded me that growth often requires becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Five years ago, our family made another significant transition when we moved from Hawaii to California. We wanted to be closer to advanced medical care for our daughter, and my husband accepted a construction management position. The move meant starting over. I had to build a new network, become involved in the community, create value, and earn the trust of people who didn’t know me. It was both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
After spending 11 years in the industry, I made the decision to start my own firm, Constant Wealth Partners. Once again, I found myself embracing the entrepreneurial journey. From securing permits and selecting office space to managing construction projects, hiring an exceptional team, implementing technology, and navigating compliance requirements, I was reminded that building a business takes far more than expertise in your profession.
Although I had been advising clients for more than a decade, launching my own firm meant evaluating and implementing entirely new software platforms, creating operational systems from the ground up, and relearning many of the daily processes that happen behind the scenes. It was both exciting and demanding, requiring me to continue learning every single day.
There are certainly moments of frustration. Entrepreneurship and growth rarely happen without obstacles. But at the end of every day, I’m reminded why I chose this path. I genuinely love what I do, and I feel privileged to work alongside clients as they navigate some of the most important decisions of their lives. Watching them gain confidence, achieve their goals, and move into their next chapter is what makes every challenge worthwhile.
Looking back, every transition in my own life—from changing careers and moving across the Pacific to starting over in a new community and launching my own firm—has reinforced a lesson I now share with my clients: life’s biggest transitions often become our greatest opportunities for growth.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Constant Wealth Partners?
At Constant Wealth Partners, we believe financial planning is about more than managing investments—it’s about helping people navigate life’s transitions with confidence.

I work with individuals, families, and business owners during pivotal moments, whether they’re preparing for retirement, selling a business, experiencing divorce or the loss of a spouse, caring for loved ones, or planning for the next chapter of life. These decisions are never just financial—they’re deeply personal.

Having experienced many of these transitions myself as a business owner, through divorce, and as a caregiver for both a child and my parents, I understand that every financial decision is connected to a person’s values, relationships, and goals. That perspective allows me to lead with empathy while providing thoughtful, strategic guidance.

What sets Constant Wealth Partners apart is our relationship-first approach. We take the time to educate, listen, and develop personalized strategies that align our clients’ finances with the life they want to live. We believe the best financial plans integrate investment management, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, and life goals into one cohesive strategy.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I’m constantly learning and consuming new content. My interests are pretty broad—I enjoy history, business, personal growth, comedy, and just about any compelling true story. I believe having a wide breadth of knowledge helps me better understand people and gives me perspectives I might never have gained through my own experiences.
Three books I come back to again and again are Never Split the Difference, Radical Candor, and The Power of Habit. Each has shaped the way I communicate, lead, and help navigate important decisions. I also enjoy podcasts and apps that challenge my thinking, encourage continuous growth, and keep me curious.
