Today we’d like to introduce you to Desiree Bennett.
Hi Desiree, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I would say my story has evolved since we last time we had one of these talks, currently working on new music and different projects that contribute to music. i started playing music at a young age teaching myself to play many different instruments and learning about studio production, continuing to build up my songwriting skills and audio engineering myself and others. hoping to continue to work in the music or tv and film industry. gaining new experiences and learning more everyday from each opportunity, and finding my audience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
there have definitely been many different challenges, where i’ve had to take a step back and really ask myself. how much do you love this? or how can you better yourself to continue to strive for your goals. but also not lose yourself too much in the process
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Currently studying in audio engineering and working on crafting my skills in mixing and recording, using adr and foley works as well as creating lofi projects that people can study too through out the day as well. i would say what sets me apart from others is my determination to keep learning as much as i can, from people who are already doing things i hope to be doing and continue to strive for greatness
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
most important lesson I’ve learned on this journey would be that anything can happen, and as long as you believe in yourself and your ability you can accomplish just about anything.
