Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my career in banking and government before moving into entrepreneurship and building LAXcar and Angel City Limo from the ground up. Over the years, we grew from a transportation service into an operation serving executives, production companies, corporate groups, and major events across California.
Running those businesses showed me how outdated many of the industry’s systems were, which led me to create fleeter.ai. It was built from real operational experience, not theory, and today I continue running the transportation companies while developing technology to solve the same challenges we face every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building a service business means dealing with constant operational pressure—employees, vehicles, customers, unexpected problems, and maintaining a high standard every single day. Growing without sacrificing service quality has probably been one of the biggest challenges.
Creating fleeter.ai brought a completely different set of challenges. Building software is expensive, technical, and requires a lot of patience, especially when you’re trying to solve real-world problems rather than just create another product. But those challenges have also been valuable because most of what we’ve built came directly from problems we experienced ourselves.

LAXcar and Angel City Limo specialize in premium black car, airport, corporate, and group transportation throughout California. We work with executives, production companies, corporate groups, private clients, and large events, handling everything from individual airport transfers to complex multi-vehicle transportation programs.
What sets us apart is our focus on reliability, service, and the operational details most people never see. In transportation, a beautiful vehicle means very little if the chauffeur is late, communication is poor, or a complicated event isn’t coordinated properly. We’ve built our reputation around consistency, professional chauffeurs, strong customer support, and being able to manage high-level transportation where there is very little room for error. I’m especially proud that LAXcar has maintained a 5.0-star reputation while growing and handling thousands of trips each year.
fleeter.ai grew directly out of that experience. It is a transportation management platform designed for limousine and private transportation companies to manage reservations, dispatching, drivers, invoicing, payments, customer communication, and other daily operations in one system. What makes it different is that I didn’t create it from the outside looking in—I built it as an operator who deals with these problems every day. That is probably the common thread across all three brands: we focus on solving real problems, paying attention to the details, and creating a better experience for both the customer and the people running the business.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about Los Angeles is the diversity and the energy. You can meet people from completely different industries, cultures, and backgrounds in the same day, and there is always something happening—from entertainment and technology to hospitality and entrepreneurship. For someone building businesses, that creates a lot of opportunity.
What I like least is probably the traffic and how spread out the city is. Ironically, working in transportation makes you appreciate that challenge even more. But it has also pushed us to become better at planning, logistics, and understanding how people actually move around Los Angeles.
