Sade’, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As far back as I can remember, I have always loved creating things with my hands. In 2019, I decided to make a special Mother’s Day gift for the women in my life. I took a picture frame, the first initial of each woman’s name as a wooden letter, stickers, and glue. I created a personalized frame for each person, adding a word that described them, writing a heartfelt letter to place inside, and decorating the frame to make it unique.
My mother-in-law loved the idea so much that she told me, “You could sell these inside of a Cracker Barrel!” I shared her idea with my husband, and that’s when he came up with the name Sadie Bliss of Blessings.
However, Sadie Bliss of Blessings didn’t truly begin to take shape until 2021, when my husband joined the military and we moved across the country to California. Moving so far from home, I wasn’t sure what working outside of the home would look like for me, so I decided to put more time and energy into Sadie Bliss of Blessings as a way to contribute financially to our household.
Over time, though, I realized that Sadie Bliss of Blessings was about so much more than bringing in extra income. It became a way for me to use my creativity and my business to spread the love of Jesus.
Today, I create faith-filled clothing, jewelry, cups, blankets, and other products designed to serve as reminders of God’s love and encouragement in everyday life. My goal is simple: to make Jesus known through the gifts, products, and creativity God has given me.
What started with a handmade Mother’s Day gift has grown into a business with a purpose—and I’m excited to see where God takes it next.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of the biggest struggles I’ve faced is marketing myself. I’m naturally an introvert, and I tend to keep to myself. Putting myself out there and talking about my business doesn’t always come naturally to me. But God has been teaching me that sometimes He calls us to step outside of our comfort zones so He can use us in ways we never imagined. I’ve had to pray for the confidence and courage to share not only my products, but also the message and purpose behind them.
Another challenge has been learning how to photograph my products and create appealing listings for my Etsy shop. I’ve spent time looking at other businesses and comparing my website to theirs, wondering if mine is good enough. But God has reminded me that I don’t have to compare my journey to someone else’s. He gave me my own gifts, creativity, and vision for Sadie Bliss of Blessings. My business doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s because God didn’t give me their assignment—He gave me mine. I’m learning to trust His timing and embrace the uniqueness of what He has placed in my hands.
Now, as a mother, another challenge is finding the time to work on my products while also caring for my daughter. Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship can be difficult, and there are days when I wonder how I’m going to get everything done. But I’ve learned to depend on God for strength, wisdom, and direction. I don’t want to use motherhood as an excuse to give up on the purpose God has placed in my heart. Instead, I’m learning how to make the most of the time and opportunities He gives me.
Through every struggle, God has been teaching me patience, perseverance, and trust. I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring things out along the way. But I know I don’t have to have everything figured out because God is already ahead of me. When I feel discouraged, I remind myself that this business is not just about me—it’s about using the gifts God gave me to make Jesus known.
I may face challenges, but I refuse to let them stop me. I will keep learning, keep creating, keep trusting God, and keep moving forward. If God gave me the vision, I believe He will also give me the strength and wisdom to walk it out.

Sadie Bliss of Blessings is a faith-based small business that creates products designed to help people carry and share their faith in everyday life. I create Christian clothing, jewelry, cups, blankets, keychains, and other handmade and personalized items. Whether it’s something you wear, drink from, carry with you, or give as a gift, my goal is for each product to serve as a faith-filled reminder of God’s love, His Word, and His presence.
What I specialize in is creating products that are not only beautiful and useful, but also meaningful. I want someone to look at a shirt, pick up a cup, or receive a gift from my business and be reminded of Jesus. I’m not just creating products—I’m creating opportunities to encourage people and make Jesus known.
What I’m most proud of is how much the business has grown from where it started. What began with me making personalized Mother’s Day gifts has developed into a business with a much greater purpose. I’m proud that I’ve continued to pursue it even through challenges, while learning new skills along the way.
What sets Sadie Bliss of Blessings apart is the heart and purpose behind what I create. There are many businesses that sell Christian products, but I want mine to feel personal. I want every item to carry a message of faith, encouragement, and love. My prayer is that when someone purchases from Sadie Bliss of Blessings, they aren’t just buying a product—they’re receiving a reminder of Jesus that they can wear, carry, use, or give to someone else.
Ultimately, I believe God gave me the creativity and desire to create for a reason. I want to use those gifts to honor Him, encourage others, and make Jesus known—one creation at a time.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is helping someone come to know who Jesus is. If my business, my story, or something I create can lead even one person closer to Christ, then it is all worth it to me.
I know that life can be hard and challenging, and we all face things that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or hopeless. But I believe we don’t have to walk through this life alone. Jesus is the One who gives us hope, strength, freedom, and peace in the midst of whatever life may bring.
I also believe that we all have a testimony—a story of what God has done in our lives—and our testimonies can be used to encourage and point others to Him. That is one of the reasons Sadie Bliss of Blessings means so much to me. If something I create can encourage someone, remind them of God’s love, or even spark a conversation that leads someone to Jesus, then I consider that a blessing.
At the end of the day, it’s not about me. It’s about Jesus. I wouldn’t be where I am today or who I am today without Him. Everything I have, including the creativity and vision behind Sadie Bliss of Blessings, is a gift from God. My desire is to use what He has given me to make Jesus known and give Him all the glory.
