Today we’d like to introduce you to Marissa.
Hi Marissa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started Ninna Lu in March 29, 2011, as a bold solution for pocket friendly fashionistas selling designer, designer-inspired, pre-loved, vintage and handmade products in all selling platforms such as eBay, Etsy, and Facebook.
I then began my traveling boutique in 2013 and joined the vendor circuit at craft fairs. My blog was also launched on ninnalu.com.
In 2017, I experienced a personal tragedy that rocked my world and had a divine download to start creating these handmade crystal wreaths as home decor..I began creating so much I went on the craft fair circuit in 2019 and with so much success I wanted to teach people how to create them., I have since studied to become a certified crystal healer to help be of service to others in their own healing journey..
I then began online and in person wellness craft experiences in 2021 and have been facilitating these unique experiences ever since.. I am now studying to become a master crystallographer, got certified in Reiki in 2025, and also became a certified practitioner of The Matrix of Oneness (sacred geometry) in 2026 to elevate my offers and services in crystal healing.
Due to health reasons, I’ve pivoted to just online wellness craft experiences for the remainder of 2026 and forward. I also needed to halt my participation with vendor events as of 2023. In July 2026, I added virtual assistant services to my Ninna Lu brand and have been creatively flowing from home ever since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I needed to halt my participation in vendor events and craft fairs for health reasons as of 2023.
Due to my lower extremities weakness, I’m unable to stand too long, and have just pivoted to online wellness craft experiences and programs as of 2026.

I am the creator behind Ninna Lu Inspired. I create beautiful minimalist crystal wreaths as home decor, with a dual purpose of crystal healing.
I am also a Wellness Craft Experience Facilitator teaching others how to create their own crystal wreath masterpiece.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I loved fashion. I especially had a sewing fetish at one point in my life and would alter, and create or sew up prom dresses in high school.
All it took was a sewing class in high school and started to create as well as design my own outfits.
