Hidden Gems: Meet Jenn Greer of Growth and Change Integrated Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenn Greer.

Hi Jenn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My background is actually in engineering, not health. For over 20 years I worked in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, managing change and solving problems for a living, all while trying to raise a family. Like a lot of high achievers, I kept putting my own health at the bottom of the list — I figured I’d deal with it later.

The problem is, ‘later’ came in the form of stress, burnout, anxiety, and a health diagnosis that stopped me in my tracks. It forced me to actually look at how I was living, and I realized the traditional healthcare system wasn’t going to give me the answers I needed. It was built to treat symptoms, not get to the root cause.

So I went looking for a different approach, and I found it through fasting, integrative nutrition, and consistent lifestyle changes rooted in the idea that the body has the capacity to heal itself if you give it what it needs. That personal journey became the foundation for everything I do now to support others on their health journey. I decided to go back to school and am now certified as an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach through IIN. One of the biggest levers I pulled in my own health journey was intermittent fasting, so I was very excited to get the opportunity to be certified as a Fast Like a Girl (FLAG) coach. My training with Dr. Mindy Pelz allows me to bring proven intermittent fasting protocols and at home hormone tracking in partnership with Oova life to my clients.

What makes my approach a little different is that I didn’t leave the engineer behind. I use those same systems-based problem-solving skills to help clients get to the root cause of what’s holding them back, instead of throwing a generic plan at them. Today, through GC Integrated Wellness, I work with women leaders in business and tech ready to build sustainable systems to reduce stress, boost energy, and feel like themselves again, without blowing up their already full schedule.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I don’t like smooth roads. Honestly, I never have. Give me a curvy, bumpy dirt road into someplace new over a straight highway any day. And it turns out that’s basically been the story of my life, not just my hobbies.

I’m growing GC Integrated Wellness while leading in a fast-paced Silicon Valley role and raising a family at the same time. There’s no smooth, paved version of that path — it’s rutted, it switches back on itself, and half the time you can’t see what’s around the next bend. Every day is a real, active choice about where my time and energy go. Managing my own stress isn’t theoretical for me, it’s a daily practice.

But that’s exactly why I trust the road, even when it’s bumpy, because I know how to navigate it. And that’s what I bring to my clients. I’m not coaching from the smooth, paved version of a health journey. I’m coaching from someone who’s actually out there on the dirt road with them, reading the terrain in real time. I live what I coach.

As you know, we’re big fans of Growth and Change Integrated Wellness. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
GC Integrated Wellness is a health and wellness practice I co-founded with my husband, Chris Greer. Chris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in trauma informed therapy. Together we bridge the mind body connection. He works with people navigating trauma, PTSD, and emotional resilience through his practice, GC Counseling Services. I focus on integrative health coaching for high achieving women in business and tech.

My specialty is helping women leaders who are juggling it all, but struggling to find time for themselves. I specialize in stress management, mindset, and intermittent fasting so my clients can see the change they imaged without the overwhelm.

What sets me apart is that I don’t come at this as a wellness industry person. I come at it as an engineer. I spent years as a systems based problem solver in high pressure environments, and I bring that same root cause thinking to health coaching instead of handing clients a generic plan. We build simple, sustainable systems designed to fit into a real, busy life, because I’m living that same life myself.

What I’m most proud of, brand wise, is that GC Integrated Wellness isn’t built around quick fixes or willpower. It’s built around the belief that the body can heal itself when you calm the nervous system and rebalance natural rhythms. We focus on lasting progress through consistency, not doing everything at once.

We offer a few ways to get started. Personalized one on one health coaching. A 90 minute metabolic health analysis with a custom nutrition plan. Group challenges and free events. Chris and I are also developing corporate wellness programs for companies wanting to support their teams. Everything starts with a free discovery call, so people can figure out what actually fits before committing to anything.

How do you define success?
For a long time I would have defined success the way a lot of high achievers do. Title, output, how much I could push through in a day. I don’t define it that way anymore.

Now I define success as alignment. Am I actually living in a way that matches what I say I value, not just performing productivity. Some days that looks like closing my laptop on time to be present with my family. Other days it looks like saying no to something good because it would cost me something better.

As an engineer, I used to measure everything by the metric. Now I measure success by sustainability. Not whether I can sprint, but whether I can keep going without breaking down, the same way I coach my clients to build systems that last instead of chasing a quick fix.

And honestly, for me success also means staying on the dirt road instead of forcing myself onto the smooth highway everyone else seems to be on. It is not a straight line. Some days feel like real progress and other days feel like just holding steady through the bumps. I have come to see both of those as success, because the goal was never a perfectly paved path. It was learning how to navigate whatever road I am actually on, and helping my clients learn to do the same in their own lives.
