Today we’d like to introduce you to TA-1.0.
Hi TA-1.0, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is TA-1.0 (Tee-Ayy One). I grew up on the east side of LA. Willowbrook, to be specific. I started writing around age 14. From that point, it was constant progression. Dropped my first solo project in 2016 called Infatuated Allegory. Dropped my second project, which was a joint project, with my boy Jaayy that same year. I did my first music video with my collective: nvstyvision (Nasty Vision) in 2017 and my first solo video in 2018. I’ve dropped multiple projects since then and plan on dropping more
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It will always be ups and downs. The struggles outside of the music is what makes the music. Whether it was heartbreaks, financial issues, vehicle problems, I just used it as fuel for the music.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an artist, I understand that everything with music cost. I work two jobs to make sure my responsibilities can be taken care of and still be able to do what I do with the artistry. Working one job doesn’t really make the cut when you have to take care of yourself as an adult
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
It would be too many people to name, but the main people are my manager, The County Creative Era, and nvstyvision. The County put me in position to where I can coordinate events. It helps getvmy name out, outside of the music. My manager takes care of things that I can’t handle at the moment. She also brings different ideas and perspectives to the table. nvstyvision always been here since high school and we’re still locked in, bouncing off of each other to get to where it is we wabt to be
